This lecture will first introduce the various effects of flow in the propagation in a duct. Some specific examples will be given on the coupling of flow and acoustic near discontinuities (area expansion, diaphragms, corrugated pipe, …). A second part will concern the sound-flow interactions in the vicinity of an acoustic material located in the wall of the duct. A particular focus will be made on the boundary condition that could be applied in the presence of a flow boundary layer.
